Carlos Gould, PhD
Dr. Gould is an Assistant Professor at the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health & Human Longevity Sciences at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Gould serves on CHBRP’s Public Health team. Dr. Gould is an environmental health scientist whose research quantifies the health impacts of environmental exposures – like temperature and air pollution – to inform policies that will protect human health. He is also interested in how and under what circumstances we can reduce personal environmental exposures and to what extent these reductions lead to improved health.
Dr. Gould was awarded a PhD by the Department of Environmental Health Science at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health and received his BA in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
