Xenia Mendez is a research analyst at Healthforce Center at UCSF and at the Institute for Health Policy Studies. At UCSF she supports a variety of health services research and evaluation projects.

Mendez graduated with a master's of public health from UC Berkeley, with a focus on maternal, child, and adolescent health. Prior to graduate school, Mendez led Medi-Cal enrollment (and other safety-net programs) at federally qualified health centers where she helped patients and community members gain access to primary care, reproductive health, mental health, and gender-affirming care.
