Danielle Casteel, MA

Danielle Casteel is a program evaluation specialist at the Health Services Research Center in UCSD’s Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, and is the project manager for the Overcoming Pain Through Yoga in the Military study which aims to assess the feasibility of tailored yoga for treating chronic lower back and neck pain in active duty military. She is also on the evaluation team for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Innovation 2 Program - Building Trauma Resilient Communities and the Orange County MHSA Programs Net Benefit Analysis. Additionally, she serves on CHBRP’s medical effectiveness team. 

She received her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration on physical and mental health research from San Diego State University.
